The multi-tree anchor is designed to distribute the skyline tension over several trees. If there are not enough strong anchor trees for conventional anchoring, the skyline can be anchored using the 12-fold multi-tree anchor with up to 7 trees. If the application is done correctly (wrapped around the tree just once) the tractive forces are distributed evenly over the tree anchors.
