The Wyssen skyline support saddle type 5 has been developed for higher cable tensions and load capacities. It functions up to a maximum support pressure of 12 t (safety factor of 5) and a maximum cable deflection of 30°. The type 5 saddle can be used for the 5 t and HY-7 carriages, and for the MSK 2 and MSK 3 motorised skyline cranes.
For higher loads two saddles may also be used with the Wyssen support balance.
